As a Principal Brand Designer, I ensured the restaurant's whole brand and design matched the fine dining and fast-casual vibe. Blending the ocean-to-table freshness with a modern touch is our goal.

Mr Bao Logo Design
In Mr. Bao's logo morphing design, “water” is an important design basis. Mr. Bao chose to use “water” and “Coin“ as a starting point for evolution and creation. While showing the relationship between Mr. Bao and “water”, it also makes the illustration stickers have a certain sense of beauty and story.

Abalone and sea wave elements are incorporated to emphasize the association with Mr. Bao. The color palette is inspired by the South African flag, adding a vibrant and meaningful touch to the design.

It took over a month to complete painting this one 24x12-foot wall and two walls (10x12-foot). The three mural sets draw ideas from the brand’s packaging illustrations, incorporating abalone and South African elements. The vibrant, bold colors reflect the restaurant’s lively and cheerful atmosphere, creating a visually striking and welcoming environment.
