Purpose

As the Art Director and Visual Designer at 🔗 Mr. Bao US 🔗, I handled everything related to the abalone themed restaurant's look and feel, from the branding to the digital visuals. The restaurant is right in the middle of New York City and focuses on Asian fusion cuisine, with every dish featuring abalone—a rare and delicate shellfish. What makes it unique is that the abalone is sourced straight from South Africa through a collaboration with the South African Embassy. My job was to bring all this together visually, ensuring the restaurant's brand and design matched the upscale yet fast-casual vibe we wanted to create, blending the ocean-to-table freshness with a modern touch.
